Two GOALS team members (Vivian U and George Privon) led successful Cycle-1 GO proposals to study nearby LIRGs with JWST. One program (GO 1717) will obtain MIRI/MRS spectra of 7 LIRGs with known outflows, and the other (GO 1991) will obtain MIRI/MRS spectra of 2 prototypical Compact Obscured Nuclei (CONs).  Other team members led, or are Co-I's on many other successful Cycle-1 GO proposals targeting galaxies at low and high redshift using a variety of JWST instruments.  Go JWST!
